Rivers are the lifeblood of our communities, and we know that there is more we need to do in making all our rivers the healthiest they can be. Get River Positive is a firm commitment to act now to protect and revitalise rivers.

We have joined forces with Severn Trent to Get River Positive by 2030, working collaboratively to drive real action and make the changes we all want to see for a better future for our rivers and environment. The programme is seeing us partner in radical ways like never before - with farmers, landowners, river groups, and others global leaders to lead the change. Find out more about how we're working together to Get River Positive.

River health is essential not only to the communities we serve, but also to our ability to provide water.

Anglian Water, Severn Trent and Hafren Dyfrdwy have joined forces and pledged to Get River Positive by 2030.

Have a concern about your local waterway?

Anything you find in the environment which shouldn’t be there, causing an impact on the surrounding area is defined as a pollution.  Lots of different types of pollution can affect our rivers from chemical spills and farming run-off to sewage and household waste. If you spot pollution and suspect it’s sewage we want to identify and investigate as quickly as possible.
